Belize receives 100 Solar Energy Street Lights from the Embassy Of The Republic Of China (Taiwan) at a value to US$ 300,00.00 (Three Hundred thousand U.S. Dollars). The purpose of this donation is to install solar energy street lights on specific section of the Houlover Bridge of the Phillip Goldson Highway and in communities, to safeguard traffics, crime prevention , and most importantly, to promote the use and development of solar energy in Belize.  This kind contribution was made possible through the kind collaboration of Hon. Frank “Papa” Mena  Minister of State with responsibility for Public Service, Energy and Public Utilities and the Ambassador  Benjamin Ho  of the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
